Anna Doherty
After completing a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature and Drama Studies at Trinity College in her native Dublin, Anna Doherty set off for the City of Light in the early 1990's and fell under the spell of Paris. Her professional experience in France ranges from teaching English to business professionals to guiding north American school groups around London and Paris and also marketing in the fields of culture and tourism. This variety enabled Anna to pursue her love of travel, but France has remained her center of gravity. Following a family move from Paris to the south of France in 2010, Anna is now using her eye for detail and her wealth of experience as an English speaker in France to create articles about the practicalities of life in France in general and for translation from French into English, specializing in restaurant menus and tourism.
